Hello,
My toshiba laptop won't connect to the internet. It says that a network cable is unplugged, but my wireless network connection is great.I'm not sure why it won't connect. All the other computers in my house are connecting just fine. We have a Realtek RTL8102E/RTL8103E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC router thing. I don't know if that will help solve the problem for I am not computer savvy haha. Please help.

Do you have another network cable you could use?

if you can see your local area connection, it shows the drivers are installed correctly.

it does sound like a cable issue.

can you try the cable on another laptop, if it doesnt connect then you know its the cable.
