Hello,
I tried to install Windows Vista using the Vista DVD but my machine doesn't boot into the installation area. While booting I have noticed that my dvd rom tries to read from the DVD but it simply skips and boots into XP which is installed on my machine. My 1st boot device is the DVD rom so there is no problem in the settings. I tried in another machine and the results are same. How can I change or configure the DVD to boot when I start my machine.
Please Help
Thanks.

If you have made the necessary changes(boot sequence) and even try installing Vista on another PC , then it may be that you setup DVD is damged.
