hi,
you can replace your hard disk by any laptop hard disk you want.
they are of standard size!
so, you are free to choose the one you want.

I was worned that a lot of laptops have a 160 max hard drive limit because of the bios. Can anyone tell me if this computer has that problem?

found this warning from a website: "Just an FYI I : check your notebooks BIOS. Many laptops have a 128GB barrier which means that if you cannot upgrade your machine's BIOS, you're gonna be stuck with 120GB drives".
Can anyone tell me if I am stuck with this ?
System Memory Specifications
Standard Memory 512 MB (removable)
Maximum Memory 2.0 GB
Memory Expansion 2 sockets
Memory Comments PC2700 DDR SDRAM SODIMMs
I am interested in a hard drive upgrade to: toshiba MK3252GSX 400 GB hard drive. It spins a pair of
160GB platters at 5,400rpm with an 8MB buffer and 12ms average seek time over a 3Gbps SATA
interface.
Would like to put two hard drives in. One for operating system and programs and the other for space
hog files for a total of 800 GB of storage.
Would like to know if the system is AWE capable.
Would like to know how to image the hard drive to switch hard drives.
Would like to know how to copy existing system drivers.
Can one image a hard drive to an external hard drive? Or does one need to use DVD's?
