WINDOWS LIVE BETA

Wellll.. i downloaded windows live beta and it worked 4 a while and now its suddenly comes up with 'A newer version is availible, you must install the newer version in order to continue. would u like to do this now?'
So i clik yess buh it never works jus freezes, So i go onto add/remove programs and try 2 uninstall it and that doesnt work!!
SOOO i try to download a newwer version to go over the old one, And it says i have to delete the other one?!?!?!
Anyy1 gta cluee?
