Problem With My Pen Drive Closed

Hello, 



my pen drive (4 GB) is not opening when i insert it in my computer (windows xp) but when it inserted it in my friend's laptop (windows 7) it has opened but it is not opening in my computer. can u please help me with my problem. thank you.

Do you get any message on system while you plug it link ''insert disk''?

Hello,

After plugging your pendrive in the device, go to the device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Locate your pendrive there and right click on it then click on "Uninstall". Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again, i think this should solve the problem.
