How to wipe my computer

Hello,
im not sure if this is the right forum but ill try ayway.
i am tryin to restore my computer ( dell inspiron 6400 , on vista)
back to factory standard, but i dont know how , plus a friend told me u need the os cd's that came with the laptop when i brought it but i can't find them ?

hi,
indeed, you need the CD.
try to find it as it costly if you are purchasing one.
or you may try to do a google search to find one.
download it and burn it on a disk.
