Black Screen

I am having a problem with the backlight. During bootup the name Compaq should show. It wont show anything but a black screen. If i boot the laptop backup again, and put the screen down 3/4 of the way the backlight works. I cant put the screen back up until the windows sign in shows. Then i can use it with no problems.

Hi,

Try to up to date your graphic card and your Bios version.
