I have an excel spreadsheet table (on one worskheet) that has several date rows in one column C, and one cell J12, for a permit number having 3 digits. I need a macro that will
1. Automatically create new worksheets(which will vary from day to day - some days I could want 10 new worksheets , some days I could want 20 new worksheets) that will copy all the information from worksheet 1 and:
2. Automatically insert the current date in all the date rows
3. Insert a consecutive permit number (starting at 001 and ending at a maximum number of 111)into cell J12
so that I could automatically make 20 new worksheets having the same table in all of them but the permit number would be different and each would have the current date in the date rows.
Could you please upload a sample EXCEL file WITH sample data, macro, formula , conditional formatting etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site , http://docs.google.com,http://wikisend.com/ , http://www.editgrid.com etc
AND post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee. Based on the sample book, could you re-explain your problem too.
Note: your data need not be to be real data but a good representative of how data looks like
