Black screen with blinking cursor appears

Hi I have an acer aspire one laptop the problem i'm having with it is that it will turn on like it should, but when it turns on the acer screen pops up and after that it goes to a black screen with this "_" flashing and it does nothing but that flashinh white bar and I have no way of fixing my laptop and before this happend it would suddenly shut down and start up and shut down again it did this at least 5 times and when I was able to use it I did a total system restore but it didn't get rid of the problem and I also restored it to it's factory default and even that didn't help and the last time it suddenly shutdown it starts the problem I listed above

can someone help me please?

Hello,

Try this 1

Go to BIOS --> Load default settings --> Set the first boot device as "Hard disk"

---> Save the settings and exit from the BIOS.

I can't do anything at all but turning it on

Hello,
Try this 1
Are you having problem in getting into the BIOS? When you switch on your laptop at the bottom you can notice the key that you have to press to get into the BIOS. Example SETUP=Del.
So when you switch on your laptop keep tapping that particular key to get into bios.
