Compaq laptop screen blank

Hello,
My compaq laptop screen us completely black when I turn it on it stays for few seconds but goes after a few seconds. I am completely devarated the power switch is on but I cant see anything. Please help I have a lot of work and I can't finish it if it doesn't work.

Hello,

Try this:

1) Disconnect the AC power adapter --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power

button for 60 seconds --> Now reconnect the AC power adapter and try to

switch ON the laptop. Later put the battery back into the laptop.

2) If the problem still exists then click on the below link and follow the instructions
