Hi,
Normally no recovery cd/dvd is provided with either laptop or desktop computers except for some models. You need to create them either on dvd/or cd depending on your choice and type of burner available. If you mistakenly erased the recovery partition then you will need to order it online and pay some $$ as its not free even from its manufacturer . What is the model of your system? If HP then you will find Recovery manager in program from there it can be created .
