Micro sd card

Hello,
i bought a new card reader, transfered few files from the computer to my cell phone's old micro sd card and when i inserted the card back to the phone, it says that the card is unformatted and asks if i want to format it, now i cant open the memory card without formatting it, and i dont want to loose the older files of the card by formatting it, what should i do? plz help me..

Greetings,

You said that the files is already on your computer, thus you can format your memory card then transfer data from your computer to the memory card.
