If the power LED is on , but the notebook PC

Hello,
I have a hp dv6000. I'm having almost the same problem. I just left it turning off for 2 days after a proper shut down. But now its not turning on. With the adapter it shows that its charging. But while i try to power it on, nothing happens. after removing the adapter i tried to power it on but there were only several blinkings of the charging led but nothing else. Then it just became dead again...i tried doing the 30 seconds trick...but it failed indeed... Plz some 1 help me asap ... Thanx in advance

Please try again and let me know!

Remove the USB cable.

Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for 60

seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later

put the battery back into the laptop.
