Black screen at start up

Hello,
I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, I turned it on and it gave me a black screen. I hard reset my laptop and it worked fine, I then shut it down and now it is doing the same thing. I tried to hard restart it again and it is doing the same thing. Help please?
