Acer aspire X3960

I bought a Acer aspire X3960 from KandCo.com, I plugged everything in that came with it (Tower, Keyboard, mouse, power adapter) Plus I bought a HDMI cable but when I turn the Tower on the light comes on and the fan spins but the Tower just makes a loud beep and nothing else. Nothing comes on screen but the light on the mouse comes on but not the keyboard and the DVD tray can open and close. I know I should send it back but I just wanted to check if anyone knew if it is a simple problem that can easly be fixed or its a big problem so if anyone knows what the problem is or how to fix it than that would be very helpful. Thanks

One beep could mean that the memory card(s) are bad or need to be reseated. But, it's best not to open the case if you end-up returning the PC.
