New pen drive not working

Hello,
I am using Acer laptop with windows 7. There is problem when i insert new pen drive ( other than what I am using now, New Pen drive) in my laptop then computer stop the working. I am unable to use new pen drive. What happen I am not known.
Can anyone help me please ?

Hi,

if its new return it where it was purchased as it may be factory defective.

oh no! I am unable to clear actually what happen. New mean new for my laptop. That pend drive is working in another laptop or desktop.
