I cannot install win xp in my laptop

Hello,
I really need your help please help me!
When i tried to format my laptop dell vostro A860 stops in 44% percent and showd this:

Setup cannot copy the file:wupdmgr.exe
when i tried to skip it showd again the same message .
PS:the cd is in good condition anyway cuz i tryed in my pc i format with same cd !

Well, you could try using Ultimate Boot CD to format your laptop and then use your Windows disk to install.
1. Just google for it and then download.
2. Then burn it to a cd using nero or something.
3. Run it on boot.
4. Look for Hard disk tools in the menu.
5. Look for formatting tools.
6. Format the drive you're going to install Windows in.
7. Use the Windows cd to install Windows.
