Hello,

I am trying to install itunes for my laptop, I have an ASUS U31F with a 64bit operating system. I tried downloading itunes of their website, once donloaded it said it couldnt install because it needed a 64 installer. So i downloaded the 64 bit program off the site and when trying to install it, it brings up the install screen for about half a second once open is pressed and then disapears with no installation occuring. Please help

thank you

Hi Chris,

You probably have installed 32 bit files from the first attempts.

1. Make sure that you totally remove any traces of the first 32 bit download.

2. Clean all of your temporary files.

3. Download, install and run this totally free yet very efficient registry cleaner :

5. Rebbot your machine

6. install the 64 bit I tunes
