Msi A6403 Wont boot.

Hello,

When i turn on the laptop the backlight comes on followed by the error message:

Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device
or INsert Boot Media in selected Boot Device and press a key_

iv tried turning off and on. taken the battery out and plugged in, and started, and pressing F12 at start, all with the same result. can anybody help.

just a standard msi A6403 no mods or add ons.
