Problem during start up

Hello,
i have been having problem during booting of my laptop .. recently i have formatted my laptop.. and when i boot on my laptop , blue screen appears and the laptop starts again . then it says that: PROBLEM DUE TO NEW INSTALLATION OF SOFTWARE OR HARD WARE .
below it option arrives which says that :START THE SYSTEM IN COMMAND PROMPT
START THE SYSTEM NORMALLY
and then i click the option start the system normally ,then the system works perfectly...
i tried everything but i was unable to know why this blue screen appear during my start up of my system...

do you have a numeric error code like "0X0000007B" with that message? It will tell us where to look for more info.

NO - not if you can't give me a numeric code. Try to hit the "Pause" key to freeze the screen so you can read the message. On a laptop you might need to press Fn + F12 (or another F key) to get a pause.

You said you've formatted your laptop recently, could you please tell me how i could do the same? i need to wipe out my entire hard drive.

the problem has a numeric code
though i dont retain the code...the blue screen appears for a very short time
so i cant able to see it but there is something like this numeric code... do u have any solution for this...
