My GTA 4 for pc running slow

Hello,

my gta4 is running slow i have a windows vista Home Premium
processor: AMD Turion(tm) X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-72(2CPUs),~GHz
Memory: 3836MB RAM
i have a ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics
it curently is in 1366X768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
i have DirectX Version 11 if that helps any.
can someone plz help me by today or tommorrow. i wanted to get a few mods to make the game fun.

Your VGA card it's pretty slow for a game like that. You should try to use lowest settings or get an upgrade.. dude :)

what kind of upgrade. like a new graphics card

yeah, the card is pretty old. and GTA 4 recommends a quad core. To play it maxed out, get a better computer or to be precise, graphics card and processor.

Right now I have a quad core QX9300 and dual NVIDIA 280m, and GTA4 is on 1.0.7.0 and im running it on the highest with a VERY rare drop in frame rate, so I'd say this spec is needed to run it full, of course, it varies on each PC.
