My sims 3 launcher won't open Closed

Hello, 

My sims 3 launcher wont open, I tried to run it in all diffrent ways, I tried running it as an admin, I tried reinstalling it, and nothing seems to work, I have custom content, but none of it has done anything in the past. I click on the shortcut, and for a minute it acts asthough it will come up, and then it will just sit there. It does the same with eveything else i do... It might be that the sims site is down, but i highly doubt that considering I play the sims without internet all the time so there is no real diffrence in no internet, to no site.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0
