You need not reinstall it.
Resart your PC and it should automatically get detected
Go to run and type
devmgmt.msc and click ok
Now right click on DVD/CD drive
and select '' scan for hardware changes
If you have lost your CD/DVD drive icon

Download and run this
Click yes when asked to add to registry,restart your PC
