Problem with Excel vlookup table array

Hello,

I did a vlookup which worked well however, when I opened the spreadsheet and it asked me if I wanted to update, of course I clicked yes. Then, I noticed that in the column where data should have been, it read 0 which tells me that its found the data, just not transferred it. I thought I'd clear the formula and start from scratch however, when it came to the table array and I went to my separate spreadsheet, it was only highlighting the columns and not counting them. Does anyone know how I can fix this? is the file which its taking from been corrupted?
