My Dark Monitor

Hello, I Have A Windows XP with a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nforce 340 Monitor and I'm having problems.Its Appearing dark after I power it on it stays for about 1 second then goes back dark but i can see a dull display in the background.

It's a failure of the "backlight". Either the light or the "inverter" that supplies powser to the backlight needs to be replaced. I suggest a good repair shop as it's not a DIY job.
