Hello,
Can anyone please help me on this....Am using an hp paviliondv7-3165dx...the problem is that anytime i switch on my PC, it says"applying update" Eg.3456/61234.And it keeps on doing this for a long time until the screen turns black, but power will still be on....and windows never startsup. Can anyone help me please?

ru turning on laptop along with internet connection ?
if yes the turn off u r inter net connection
and if then too u r getting the same error then then follow this following steps
1 start os in a safe mode and then restore the os
2 use os cd and use repair option in that u will get restore point option if u r window has created any restore point or might u have created any restore point restore ur window to that date
and once ue get in to u r window screen
turn off the update form microsoft
if yes the turn off u r inter net connection
and if then too u r getting the same error then then follow this following steps
