Hello,

I am running windowss XP I set up a second monitor. I was using it for a little while and now both screens are black, I can not see anything.

I have tried every one of the suggestions listed in the previous pages to no avial. I have pressed so many f keys my fingers hurt.

What if I reset the bios by shorting it out, or would replacing the videos card bring back my laptop to the orginal settings

I have Toshiba laptop.

Please help

Eve

Sorry but the video chip/card is not replaceable in most laptops. At this point the laptop needs a professional hands-on diagnostic. The sad fact about repairing laptops is that it is often cheaper to buy a new one than repair the old one.

Good Luck
