The Sims 3 - ShowtimeClosed

Question

I tried to install Showtime, but when I did, it said I needed to update Origin. I tried to but the program froze and I had to close it out. Showtime didn't fully install. I tried to reinstall it but when I do I get this message: "You currently have one or more packs for The Sims 3 installed. Showtime may cause those expansion packs to no longer function correctly unless you update your game online via The Sims 3 Launcher. Do you wish to continue uninstalling The Sims 3 Showtime?" I click yes and it says it uninstalled correctly, but then I try to reinstall it, and I get the same message.
