Hello,

I have my Laptop Compaq V3700, I could not detect my own wireless. I have been trying to detect a home or office, I could not find both of them. However, the weird thing is this Laptop could find and connect to other wirelesses nearby. I am not sure does the distance matter coz it can detect others by not my own wireless. Plase help

In additonal to my question, I als try to use anot laptop or my phone. Those devices can detec my home andmy office wireless withou any problem. That'a why I am sure it gotta be something wrong with the Compaq laptop.

Had this sort of problem with a PSP (yes, I know thats not a laptop)
It would not like WPA 2 internet security, but liked WPA and WEP.

Have you tried updating the driver for your wireless card? That could solve the issue for you.

Visit support.hp.com and make sure to download the latest driver for your wireless internet card.

Let us know what happens :)
