In Excel 2010 modify the pasted value to link
Closed
Hello,
Office 2010 Excel
I often need to record UPS tracking numbers into designated fields in Excel. Is there a way I can paste a tracking number and have it shown as an html link? So click on the link would launch browser and show the tracking info for said tracking number.
I was thinking either an onPaste hookup and examine the pasted value to see if it is like a tracking number, if so, modify the cell accordingly. Or a range of cells with special hookup to accept pasted value and format a link around it
