Cannot download files off internet...

Hello,
Im Matti and here's the just of it.

I cannot download any files off the internet. A box comes up when I am trying to download this exe. file and says 'opening ect,' and then quickly closes and goes to the 'Launch Application' box.

Any help appreciated, anymore info needed to come to a solution feel free to ask, thanks.

1. You better download Internet Download Manager from its official site, www.internetdownloadmanager.com
(download it from other computer or even your mobile phone)*
2. Follow all installation's instructions
3. After installation completed, click Options
4. In general tab, mark your web browser, then edit click Customize IDM Menu Items Context Menu of Browser
5. Mark your desire option in any browser, then click OK
6. You have to restart your running browser to install plug-in (Firefox)
