No space on new 32 gb sandisk cruzer

Hello,
I formatted sandisk cruzer 32 gb lost everything can not find on computer when trying to open it reads windows unable to formatte please help

Is this an Ebay counterfeit product? They often have very little real memory and have a reprogrammed controller that falsely reports larger memory size.
