Hello,
I have a problem when I try to download using my Sky wireless connection! When downloading a file the speed shoots upto around 900kb/s then drops down to 0kb/s. If I plug in the Ethernet cable direct from my router I can get a good solid download speed of 1.8mb/s. Any ideas?
Thanks

Poor wifi is often the result of local interference or hardware problems. Have you tested your computer's wifi hardware with another server?
Local interference can sometimes be solved by changing the channel the router uses for transmitting. Perhaps you can get help from the ISP (Sky) in changing the default channel. It should involve logging on to the router and selecting another channel. SKY should have given you the address of the router and instructions. You can use the PC to scan the local servers and then select a channel that is clear.
Good Luck
