Hello, I have read previously solved situations submitted that were dealing with error message Diskette Drive 0 Seek Failure. I get the same and have to hit F1 to continue. I understand the error most likely could be corrected by going into CMOS screen and disabling floppy drive or highlighting Drive A and then putting NONE in field... IF... you don't have a floppy drive.
But, I ...DO...have an external floppy drive that I use. So could you please advise me on how to get rid of the aggravating error message and still maintain function of my floppy drive? Thank you so much! Help greatly appreciated.

Your external floppy is probably a USB drive and should not be affected by disabling the floppy seek that the BIOS initiates.

Good Luck
