Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire 4750 Series and I get Massage "Operating System not found"
I checked the BIOS and it recognises the CD/DVD Drive but not the hard drive (HDD Model Name: None)
I installed new Window 7 but It is clean with no partitions to install.
Could there be a virus in the BIOS if so how can I check.
Thank You,
Jamenyinyi

No virus. Just a dead hard drive. I suggest you buy a new one,

Good Luck
Thank you, sir.
I am very glad for replying me.
yeah.... I am going to buy a new hard drive.
Can you give me some suggestion about new hard drive.
I mean that it will have some problem with BIOS when I simply connect a new hard disk?
I am afraid about BIOS which is broken after I bought a new hard drive.
Please help me....and reply me...
Thank you,
Jamenyinyi

you don't break a BIOS - unless you had a failure during an update. If this is what you did then the ONLY fix is to replace the BIOS chip with a duplicate that hase been reprogrammed with the correct BIOS.
