It sounds like maybe the games are stressing your system and overheating it,
When is the last time you took apart your of and gave it a very good clean?

Hello,
There are three possibilities:
1. As Niblife says, it could be overheating.
2. Your game ate of of your ram (most likely)
3. Your video card can't handle that much.
