Hello Robert,
First I must say that I feel terribly sorry for you, you deserve much better than Norton or any another Symantec product, the worst on the market.
Is your issue recent? What application were you trying to remove?
The code you have given has to do with Windows update which cannot find the interface. Is your XP Genuine?

Are you using a Dell computer ? Wireless connection ?
