Hello,
HELPPPPP, I have a Toshiba Satallite C655 with Windows 7 and a AMD. We use this laptop to dispatch all our drivers in our towing company and also use it to recieve our calls. Today the system just shut off, when we powered it back up it was telling us catalyst control centre host application has stopped working. We did a restore to a previous time and all started working fine. When we did a update after that the system went to restart and now all we get is a black screen and a flashing curser in the top left corner. We checked and do not have a restore disc. We just purchesed this laptop about 6 months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

What about restoring it to factory settings?

That is actually what I am doing now. Saw another post that told me to try that so it is at 97% now. We will see if that works. Thanks

First see if you can open the task manager, launch a new task and type explorer.exe

The catalyst error is related to the graphic card for which the driver must be updated.
