Hi deardear,
Try the below mentioned steps and see if it helps:
1. Reseat monitor cable (VGA/DVI/HDMI).
2. Check the input signal mode (VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc.) in Monitor OSD (On-Screen-Display).
3. Reset the monitor to factory defaults.
4. Run Self-test on the Monitor (unplug the monitor cable to the system tower and see if a menu appears).
5. If Monitor supports Built In Diagnostics, run the test. If test fails; Replace Monitor only.
If this doesn't fix the problem do reply with the following details:
1. Monitor Model Number (with manufacturer).
2. Graphics card details (if there is a graphics card in the machine).
Do reply with results.
