Try this 1
Right-click on that drive --> Select "Properties" --> Does it shows the number of files and folders ?

Hello,
Try this 1
Right-click on that drive --> Select "Properties". Does it show the file system ?
Click on "Security" tab --> Let me know if the list of user names exists or not user the "Group or user name".

it says file system = unknown
i have been using this 1T drive for some time and it has abut 500GB of data on it.
