Hello,

I've had my Dell Inspiron 17r for less than a year and it's not booting up properly. Whenever i try starting it up it acts as if it s doing perfectly fine and the Dell logo shows up as usual and it says window's is loading. But then for a split second the screen turns blue and it shuts down. I've tried all I could think of but it continues to do this. PLEASE, HELP ME. I'm desperate!

Hi,

Try to boot the computer into Safe Mode and check. If the computer boots to the Safe Mode try performing a Clean Boot. To get the steps on how to perform a clean boot, check the below mentioned link:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

Note: In case of expired warranty scenario, I would be able to provide limited support, which will not cover part replacement, software support and onsite technician.

Do reply with results.

You should call the Dell help line. Don't you have one year warranty?
