I HAVE A Compaq Presario V2000 , BUT I MISTAKELY LOST MY DRIVER PLS I WANT YOU TO ASSIST ME WITH THE DIRIVER S SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Hello Friends,

The Compaq Presario V2000 laptop will not accept the drivers provided in the HP website. You need to check the exact product tag number which is found below the laptop. It will be like "V2374AP". This is the actual part number or the model of your laptop driver which you need to search.

One of the numbers found below the laptop in V2000 is "V2374AP".

So search "Compaq Presario V2374AP Notebook PC"

The link that the guy above gave you will help if you have the same model he has. I personally suggest that you goto the root site ( https://www8.hp.com/fr/fr/home.html#Support ) and have the site find your model number for you. It has a activex program on the site that will tell them(and you) exactly what you have. His model number was V2374AP but I have a V2000 as well and mine is a V2424NR. Different model number= different hardware = different drivers.
