Hi BIKER1,
Sometimes, this "Object Error" message appears due to add-ons in Internet Explorer. Try these steps and check if this fixes the problem:
1. Click Start, click "All Programs", click "Accessories", click "System Tools", and then select "Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)".
2. If the Internet Explorer open correctly, follow the below mentioned steps to isolate the browser add-on that is causing the issue:
3. In the Internet Explorer in "No Add-ons" mode click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
4. Click the Programs tab, and then click Manage add-ons.
5. Click an add-on in the Name list, and then click Disable.
6. Repeat step 5 until you identify the add-on that duplicates the problem.
Do reply with results.
