Hello:
Using Excel 2010, I'm trying to set up conditional formatting to see if a particular value in column A2 is equal to a value listed anywhere with a range of cells in a particular column (B2-B99). If so, I'd like it hightlighted in red. Then I want to go down column A and check the next, and so forth to the end of the column. (A2-A31).
Seems simple enough, but I'm new to both conditional formating and Excel 2010, so it looks like I need help. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
David

Select the B2:B99 and select the Conditional Format select New Rule
then select the Format Cells that contain and Select Cell Value and select the Equal to in the Range option give the $A$2 and format as you like
and also for A2:A31 also
