Unable to install windows xp on my compaq presario cq-490SE

i have a compaq presario cq-490SE with pre-installed windows 7. i want to install windows xp on it but iam unable to. i used hiren boot cd to delete all partitions and inserted win xp cd into the drive. but i get a blue screen error with 0X00000007B. and doesnt move further
please help me out.
My configuration is Processor : i3 2.2Ghz
RAM : 2 GB
HDD : 500 GB

Please try the steps in the "General Troubleshooting" section of the page and see if this fixes the issue.
