I can't download itunes! =(

Hello,
I have just bought an Ipod touch and i couldn't seem to download Itunes off the apple website.
It would start downloading and it would stops when it hits the 44.7mb.
I have tried for several days and it still won't work.

Can someone please help me?
Thanks!

P.S: I'm using a window vista Home basic, with a 32-bit OS.
