Blank Screen in Asus laptop.

Today i bought asus au k55v. it comes with dos os. i installed windows 7 hb but later when i want to upgrade it to win8. i tried to install it through bootable flash drive. i updated bios accordingly and saved the bios setting. from that point of time, i am unbale to see any thing on the screen but the power button is still showing that the laptop power in on mode, i can feel that fan of the laptop is also working with other devices. please help me to tackle this problem.

I suspect you have a failure in the BIOS flash. Does the Asus have a flash recovery feature? If it doesn't then you will need to buy a correctly flashed BIOS chip and replace the one you have.
