Try this.
1) Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for
60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and
later put the battery back into the laptop.
2) If the problem still exists then click on the below link and follow the instructions

I've tried that, several times. my keyboard isn't lighting up, and my hard drives aren't working either is the cd drive. things worked until win updates needed to restart my laptop. then nothing. the laptop only has maybe 25 hr's use-age.

the only things that come on are the power light, battery light, and the ac light

I did all that, thru further research I found on you tube Toshiba Satellite P505D L305 A135 NB505 Macbook Pro Video GPU Reflow Process. even though I don't have MacBook its the exact problem I having and I guess a lot of people do. I guess i'll either put it in the shop or sell it as is.

has anyone ever had their gpu reflowed any idea of cost?
