Cant install windows 8 pro version

hello everybody
when I try to install windows 8 pro on a new formatted drive
it installs up to the first reboot when the computer locks up
at the "press any key to boot from dvd". if I press any key it starts
to install again from the beginning, if I dont press any key the computerstays locked.
any suggestions will be much appreciated as I am 81 years old and depend on my
computer for on line banking etc.

Hello,

Try this 1

Provide us more information regarding "computer stays locked". Do you mean

after reboot you failed to get the Windows Screen ?

The process gets repeated if you press any key during the prompt

"Press any key to boot from DVD...".

When it restarts, go to BIOS --> Set the first boot device as "Hard Drive" -->

Save the settings and exit from it.

I changed the bios to boot from hard drive and restarted computer,
on boot up I pressed f12 and chose boot from cd drive
windows 8 started installing but after first reboot screen stuck on "loading
operating system
any further suggestions to proceed
