Please help- conditional formatting

Hello,

I want help to solve below described question for excel 2007.

CELL A1= 01-JAN-2013, A2= 02-JAN-2013, A3= 05-JAN-2013, A4= 07-JAN-2013, A5= 09-JAN-2013, A6= 10-JAN-2013

Here a1 and a2 has difference of 1 day so both the cells a1, a2 should be highlighted with same color (blue), cell a3 and a2 has more than 1 day difference so cells a3 should be highlighted with separate color (cell a3=green), cell a4 and a3 more than 1 day difference so cells a4 should be highlighted with separate color (orange).

Hi Chirag,

Conditional format, Formula is:
Rule 1: =A2-A1=1
Rule 2: =A2-A1>2
Rule 3: =A2-A1>1

Apply desired format to each rule.
